Following his release from Derby County after his contract expired this summer, Conor Sammon has moved to the Scottish Premiership with Hearts.
The 29 year-old striker has never really impressed at Derby County and looks to resurrect at Scottish career that was so good for Sammon when he played for Kilmarnock. Whilst there he scored 17 goals in just 65 games from 2008 to 2011.
Sammon has played 83 times for the Rams and scored 10 goals.
His move to Hearts now sees him in line for European action, as Hearts finished third in the Scottish Premier League and so qualify for the Europa League next season
