Craig Forsyth has only just returned to fitness after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury that kept him out of the Rams squad last season.
The 27 year-old defender is looked upon as one of the best in the Championship and has attracted attention from Brighton, QPR and Fulham.
No word as yet from new Rams boss, Nigel Pearson but it is expected he will look very closely at the situation. The Rams of course have brought in Marcus Olsson to cover, or replace Forsyth, so it would seem the Rams have an embarresment of riches, at least in the left back position.
Forsyth also has two years left on his contract, so could be expensive for whoever, if anyone has a chance to buy him.
