Stephen Pearson Move may happen in January sales

Stephen Pearson could be on his way down South and Pride Park

Stephen Pearson the Celtic midfielder and target for Billy Davies has indicted that he may be available to join the Rams when the January transfer window opens.

The 24 year-old Scot feels he now needs to get regular games in order to progress his career and has only started on three occasions for Celtic this season.

If this move takes place Pearson brings with him Champions League experience having scored a well taken goal in the latest rounds of the Champions League against Portugal's Benfica when he came on as a late substitute.

The Rams have yet to comment on the revelation by Pearson but will again be interested should the opportunity arise.
