The latest victim is 21 year-old Steve Davies, a scan has revealed that he has a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot.
Davies will now have to undergo an operation to fix the injury with screws, this is expected to go ahead tomorrow, Friday 27th March. He will then be sidelined for the rest of the present season but is hopeful to be fully fit and ready for the pre-season build up for the 2009-2010 season.
Rams manager Nigel Clough has now seen three players out for the rest of the season since joining the club. Miles Addison and Paul Green are also long term injuries but again are setting their sights on a return to pre-season training....
