Well you can’t keep a good man down, says the old adage, and Robbie Savage proves that. Just weeks after finishing a superbly entertaining football career he now heads for glory in Strictly Come Dancing.
The 36 year-old former Rams Captain is always one for the lime light and every football fan in the country will be tuning in to see the hard talking player pull on the lycra and sequined outfits that each dancer wears.
Fans will hopefully see the feminine side of the hard tackling midfielder but TV insiders say he has been brought to the show to “make waves”. I am sure he will be arguing with the referee….. errr the judges over this moves.
Robbie is said to be looking forward to the new challenge and is reported to have said he is “determined to win it”…!
Well good luck Robbie, I am sure all Rams fans will wish him well and the emergence of the new John Travolta.!
