If the worst should happen and Derby County find themselves having to take part in the end of season play-offs it is quite likely that a trip to the new Wembley would happen. Although this is quite exciting in the opening year of the new stadium news just out of ticket prices for the FA Cup final are causing concern for the Football Supporters Federation.
Tickets prices for the first ever FA Cup Final to be played at the 90,000 seater stadium have just been announced, with the cheapest being priced at £35. The prices then rise steeply to £60, £80 and £95 for the top seats in the stadium, making what is the supporters day out a very expensive one.
The Supporters Federation have said that prices should have started between £15 to £20 and added that Football in general is pricing itself out of the reach of a lot of ordinary supporters and this is just the latest example.
FA Chief executive Brian Barwood maintains that ticket prices have been set at a sensible and affordable level, for what will be an historic event.
It is unclear at the present moment in time if these prices will be repeated for play-off finals, and let's hope Derby County fans don't have to find out.
