Mile Sterjovski makes it into the Australian squad for World Cup qualifiers
We take a look at the weeks news so far down at Pride Park, starting with good news for Aussie Mile Sterjovski, who has been called up to the Australian national team and will hope to assist them in their charge toward World Cup qualification. The Australians take on Bahrain in the latest round of qualifying games.

Some further good news if you were considering purchasing a ticket for the Carling Cup game against Leeds United. With tickets going well and a place in the competitions quarter finals, the Rams ticket office will be staying open until 7.00pm tonight (Monday 10th November) in order for those not yet able to purchase their seats for the event.

A huge crowd is expected for games which have generally been not to well supported in recent years since the removal of the Cup Vouchers from the season ticket book.

Martin Albrecthsen
Martin Albrechtsen out injured again after just recovering from a hernia operation. This leaves the Rams looking at emergency loans to fill the central defensive positions.
The bad news so far this week comes from injuries sustained by Martin Albrechtsen and Dean Leacock. Both are expected to miss the clash tomorrow night with Leeds United. Albrechtsen, just recovering from a hernia operation now has a calf strain which saw him leave the field at half time during Saturdays defeat against Reading.

With Leacock also ruled out through injury, Rams boss, Paul Jewell may be looking at an emergency loan to plug the central defensive gap. The Rams boss has been frustrated in initial requests to loan players of the quality Derby County need. The deadline is in just over two weeks for loans on the 25th November...
