Time is right to rest Cywka - Clough

Tomasz Cywka
Tomasz Cywka, could be rested by Clough as his form dips.
Cywka has started 12 of the Rams` last 13 games, including eight in a row, representing the 22-year-old's longest run in the side.

He was in good form during Derby`s sequence of eight wins in 11 matches and his performances caught the eye of Poland national coach Franciszek Smuda.

However, Clough feels Cywka's form has dipped in recent weeks, along with the Rams` results.

"Tomasz wasn't very good from the first couple of minutes against Bristol City on Saturday. We are at the stage where Tomasz has had a run in the side and now he may need to come out," Clough told the Derby Telegraph.

"But we always thought this would be the case because, in terms of first-team football, Tomasz had not really kicked a ball before joining us. With so few games behind you, there is nothing to fall back on experience-wise when you are having a bad time - and he is having a bad time at the moment..."
