Following an impressive game last night against Premirship Aston Villa, Nathan Tyson is now the latest injury worry for Nigel Clough before Saturday's first league game.
Tyson looked lively for the first half hour of last nights friendly at Pride Park. The Villa Defense were stretched by his pace and overall play but after 35 minutes he pulled up with what looks to be a groin strain.
Further treatment and an assesment on the injury will take place this morning but with less than 48 before the opening game against Birmingham City it looks doubtful if Derby will be abe to play their newest striker.
Conor Doyle also took a hefty wack to his shin during the game and also had to be substituted.
It's not all bad news though as James Bailey made his return from injury during the 2-0 over Villa last night...
