Christie on the way to London?

Glenn Hoddle is said to be stepping up his search for a striker before the season starts and the transfer deadline ends.
The London club is said to have been tracking Christie throughout the summer and are likely to put a £5 million bid in for the England U21 striker in the next few days.

Derby County have yet to comment but a reasonable offer may be taken by the club to cut down the rising debt at the club and save on wage bills.
