Kinkladze will not play for Gregory

Georgi Kinkladze appears to have given the board of Derby County FC an ultimatum. An interview with a leading local newspaper has revealed that Georgi has said “If John Gregory comes back I will go”.

Kinkladze went on to say he thought Derby County would probably be pushing for promotion next season if George Burley were retained as manager of the Rams.

Meanwhile Rams supporters were venting

their own feelings yesterday at Pride Park when sections of the crowd broke into a chorus of “f**k off John Gregory” during the game against Coventry City.

George Burley, most Rams fans want him to stay as manager

Many supporters would like to retain the services of George Burley. Recent rumours of a deal to take George to Premiership Fulham say the arrangements are already completed and George will leave to take up the position once the season ends, or even sooner now Derby are safe from relegation.
