Newcastle United are again attracting interest from the Rams. After completing the sale of Warren Barton in an incredible 12 hours, John Gregory is reported to be making enquiries about Newcastle's 36-year-old midfielder Robert Lee.

The Rams face stiff opposition from West Ham for Lee's services and the London club is already said to have had a £200,000 bid rejected by Newcastle.
Lee is seen as an influential and experienced midfield general by the Rams and his 21 England games are a testament to his obvious skill. He would also be a replacement for Darryl Powell who is to serve a one-match ban for the (Feb 23rd) game against Leicester City.
