Is Rava's injury that bad?

Ravanelli to have tests on his injured ankle at Lilleshall

Fabrizio Ravanelli is to go to Lilleshall for specialist checks after Rams Physio’s and Doctors can find no reason for the Pain that Ravanelli insists he has been in over the past few weeks.

Fabrizio has undergone several tests by the Rams specialists but they can find nothing that would cause intense pain. Manager John Gregory said, “as far as I am concerned it is not that bad”. We don’t know if he meant the injury is not that bad and Rava should soon recover or it is not that bad and Gregory thinks that Ravanelli is swinging the lead.

With only 8 months left on his lucrative contract Ravanelli needs to be fit and soon if the Rams are not to carry a dead weight of a player that drains the club of £40,000 per week.
