Player rating results v Nottingham Forest

Last updated : 31 December 2010 By Rams Mad Editor

Well it may have been a disappointing game for Rams fans against the old enemy Nottingham Forest but there was a huge response to our offer to let you, the fans, rate the performance of the players. Almost 200 votes in just 24 hours shows the strength of feeling following the 5-2 defeat.

Not surprisingly the ratings were not high and no player, including substitutes, failed to reach more than 3.6 out of a ten star rating system.

Midfield duo of Paul Green and James Bailey only managed 2.68 and 2.80 respectively. This score earning Green the title of duffer of the week. Tomasz Cywka was only slightly better rated, polling a score of 2.82

Defender John Brayford waded in with a strong (for this set of ratings) average score of 3.26. Dean Moxey also received a favourable rating of 3.05

It was again no surprise that Kris Commons, returning to the City Ground and scoring a free-kick, averaged the top mark of 3.52. Surprisingly we have had our first tie for the top rated Rams player and Stephen Bywater, despite being beaten on five occasions also polled 3.52

Substitute Chris Porter also managed to creep into the 3's, with an average rating of 3.03. Fellow striker Steve Davies only managed a 2.88
