Rams Youth lose in Pride Park Cup game

Lee Holmes had a good game despite losing in tonights FA Youth Cup with the Rams youngsters

The Rams Academy players were disappointed to go out of the FA Youth Cup tonight at Pride Park. The youngsters were beaten 2-0 by a strong Southampton youth side.

The game was well supported by over 700 appreciative fans. Derby’s best player was arguably Lee Holmes the 15 year-old had several shots during the game and most being on target. Unfortunately for Holmes and Derby they were not of sufficient quality to beat the Saints keeper.
