Marcus Tudgay does it again

The Rams reserves went away with 3 points from this match but it was a close run thing and only a last minute goal kept the Rams Championship hopes alive.

It was a defender who gave the Rams an 11^th minute lead. Steve Elliott rose magnificently and powered in a bullet header that the Spurs keeper could not keep out.

With only 6 minutes left of the match the Rams where desperately trying to hang on to all the points but Spurs looked like spoiling the party as they scored after a fizzing shot from Johnnie Jackson was only parried by Foletti in the Rams goal and Ferguson slotted home the rebound.

It was the Rams night however and with the last seconds being played Marcus Tugay was in the right place at the right time and his looping header found the back of the net to make the final score 1-2 to the Rams. A result they had to come away with to maintain the title challenge.
