After a lay-off of 44 days the Rams reserves returned to action against Watford at Vicarage Road. Although thwarted in their efforts to win the game, Derby had the majority of chances to take all three points.
The Rams welcomed back Brian O'neil after his long injury absence. He had a solid game making some decisive challenges at the back. O'neil was replaced after 70 minutes after this encouraging return.
