With a small crowd of just 15.071, it has to be said that this was not the most entertaining of games but with Shefki Kuqi sitting the match out, as he is on loan from the Swans, Derby probably didn't have the experienced striker out there to claim all the points. Having said that the Rams did enjoy 46.2% of the games possession and only had two shots of note to contend with.
The Rams also managed two goal attempts in the game and had nine corners to Swansea's 7. Derby had only managed one other clean sheet this season, the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace, so Nigel Clough was pleased to see his somewhat patched up defence frustrate the Swans.
